Earlier this week I made a huge announcement…I created a new Facebook Group! You can now join me over on Facebook in the brand new Meghan Makes Crew group. I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone and for all the amazing plans I have for this first year. I figured we should kick it off with a free Crochet Along! Find all the details on how to participate below.

I’m thrilled to be bringing you the brand new Colden Hat Crochet Pattern and I’m even more excited to be working it up with all of you as a Crochet Along.

The Colden Hat is quickly becoming my new favorite hat. It’s double brim will keep you extra warm and the diamond lattice stitch gives it such a unique look. The best thing is, this hat is worked completely in the round, even the brim!

Since this design uses quite a few different stitches, I’ll be providing detailed photo and video instructions to accompany the CAL each week. We will be working the hat up in sections over three weeks starting February 28th.

Every Friday you can find the next section right here on the blog as well as the video tutorial for that week. If you’d like to work at your own pace that’s totally fine, just grab the PDF copy in my shop.

Make sure to join us over in the Facebook group to share your progress, win some awesome prizes and get to know your fellow crocheters!
